    These easy mini apple pie tarts are quick to make in 3 simple steps with just 5 ingredients! Their warm spices and flaky pie tart shells make them a delicious fall treat and a great Thanksgiving dessert!

    Save time with this apple tarts recipe! The canned pie filling and store-bought tart shells make this recipe come together quickly (no peeling apples necessary and no homemade crust to be made!)

    If you love apple pie, then you're going to love these bite-sized versions! They're so yummy and even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce!

    Ingredients

    • Frozen tart shells (this recipe uses tart shells that are 3 inches)
    • Canned apple pie filling
    • Cinnamon
    • Nutmeg
    • Vanilla extract

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1 - Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350° F and line two baking sheets with 12 tart shells each.

    Step 2 - Mix: To a mixing bowl, add the chopped apple pie filling, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract and stir until combined.

    Step 3 - Bake: Fill the tart shells with one heaping tablespoon of the pie filling each and bake for 20-22 minutes, until the tart shells are slightly golden.

    Storage

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. They can also be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.

    Ingredients

    • Frozen tart shells: 24
    • Canned apple pie filling, chopped/diced: one 21 oz can
    • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
    • Nutmeg: ½ teaspoon
    • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon


    Instructions

    1. Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350° F and line two baking sheets with 12 tart shells each.

    2. Mix: To a mixing bowl, add the chopped apple pie filling, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract and stir until combined.

    Chop the canned pie filling (you can just dump it right onto a cutting board to chop). This will ensure the apples are diced small and easy to eat. 

    These tarts are best served warm, and pair well with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and or caramel sauce!
