Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 - Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Step 3 - Bake: Bake the cobbler on the middle rack uncovered for 35-45 minutes until the crumble is golden. Let the cobbler rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
Storage and Leftovers
Store any leftovers covered tightly with tin foil or plastic wrap (once room temperature) in the fridge for up to 1 week. To reheat, bake uncovered or microwave on a microwave-safe dish until warm.
Helpful Tips
- You'll know when to stop mixing the butter and cake mix when the texture becomes crumbly.
- Instead of melting the butter and mixing it with the cobbler, you can also just pour the dry cake mix over the cherry layer and then distribute slices of butter if you find that easier.
- If you want your cobbler to be extra thick, you can mix the cherry pie filling with a tablespoon of corn starch.
- The cobbler is ready when the top is golden in colour.
- Letting the cobbler rest will give it time to cool down and thicken slightly, making it easier to scoop and eat!
