If i'm being honest, I love a store-bought graham cracker pie crust cause they're just so easy to use, BUT for a homemade version with only two ingredients it's just as simple to use, yet way more delicious.

I love using this graham cracker pie shell recipe for my baked and no bake pies! Everyone always loves my pies and are always suprised to find out it only takes two ingredients to make this tasty crust.

    Ingredients

    • Store-bought graham cracker crumbs (or full cookies which can be grinded into crumbs using a food processor or blender).
    • Butter

See the recipe card below for the ingredient measurements.

    Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 - Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Step 2 - Make the crust: To a large microwave safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave and then add the graham cracker crumbs into the same bowl, mixing with a fork until combined.

Step 3 - Bake the crust: Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing the mixture into the bottom and sides of the dish. You may find it helpful to use the back of a spoon or the bottom of a cup with a flat surface to do this. Bake for 6-8 minutes, until golden, then rest until room temperature before adding any pie filling.

    No Bake Option

Not feeling like turning on the oven? Making a no bake pie? No problem! Follow all the same steps, just don't bake the crust! For easy assembly, I like to pop the crust in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes just to get it a bit solid before adding any pie filling.

    Notes

If you can't find graham cracker crumbs, you can substitute with full cookies and then grind them into crumbs using a food processor or blender.

To achieve a firm crust, use the back of a spoon or the bottom of a cup with a flat surface to press the crumb mixture into the pie dish before baking.

You can also make this a no bake crust. Just follow the same steps and instead of baking it, chill it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to make it slightly solid before adding any pie filling.
