    This easy cherry pie filling crisp is quick to make with just 6 simple ingredients! It's an incredibly delicious and comforting dessert packed with cherries and a tasty buttery crisp topping.

    This cherry crisp is delicious all year round - comforting in the fall and winter, and refreshing with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the spring and summer!

    It's quick to put together with only a handful of pantry staples, for an effortless yet tasty treat. Your friends and family will love it!

    Ingredients

    • Canned Cherry Pie Filling (you can also make this dessert with any fruit pie filling. It's such a versitile dessert that can be made with many different delicious variations)!
    • Flour
    • Quick Oats
    • Brown Sugar
    • Cinnamon
    • Butter
    • Vanilla Ice Cream (optional, for serving)

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1 - Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

    Step 2 - Assemble: To a 9x13 baking dish, evenly distribute the canned cherry pie filling. In a mixing bowl, combine and mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Add the butter and use your hands (or a pastry cutter) to form a crumbly texture.

    Step 3 - Bake: Evenly sprinkle the oats mixture over the cherries and bake for 40-45 minutes uncovered on the middle rack until golden brown.

    Storage & Leftovers

    Store any leftovers covered tightly with plastic wrap or tin foil (once room temperature) and chill in the fridge for up to one week.
