This pasta recipe looks fancy but it's not! It's so quick and easy to make, and it makes for stress-free weeknight dinners. I make it at least once a week.

This recipe is fun because you can swap the Boursin cheese flavour to one of their other flavours too! It tastes great with their shallot and chive flavour too.

    Recipe Ingredients

    • Rigatoni (or your prefered pasta type)
    • Boursin Cheese (this recipe uses garlic & herbs flavour)
    • Lemons
    • Green peas
    • Salt & pepper
    • Red pepper chili flakes (optional)

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    • Boil: Following the package instructions, cook the pasta in a large pot and reserve ¼ cup of the pasta water.
    • Mix: After straining the pasta, transfer it back to the same pot. Add the Boursin cheese and reserved pasta water and mix until fully coated. Add the lemon juice and zest, peas, salt, pepper, and red chili flakes and mix again.
    • Serve: Serve immediately with parmesan cheese as desired.

    Serving Suggestions

Serve a tasty appetizer with this pasta dish like a classic tomato basil bruschetta or some cheesy mozzarella prosciutto bruschetta. This creamy pasta recipe also tastes delicious paired with a light side salad and a fresh loaf of bread.

    Notes

Don't skip the reserved pasta water! This is going to make the cheese sauce super silky and creamy and avoid the cheese sauce from drying out.

Looks good. Can you tell me at what point you cook the peas, or are you putting then frozen or uncooked, fresh peas?
