Description
These easy red velvet crinkle cookies with cake mix are chewy and taste delicious!
Ingredients
- Red Velvet Cake Mix: 1 box (15.25 ounce)
- Vegetable Oil: 1/3 cup
- Eggs: 2
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix: To a large bowl, add and mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract with an electric hand mixer on medium (the cookie dough will be sticky). Chill the dough for 30 minutes (this will help make it thick, less sticky, and easier to scoop).
- Bake: Add powdered sugar to a separate bowl and scoop and drop 1-inch balls of cookie dough into the bowl (they may not be perfectly shaped at this stage, but that's okay). Fully coat them with the powdered sugar and then roll them into balls using the palms of your hands (some cracks in the dough is normal). Place the cookies 1 inch apart on the baking sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes.
