This spicy 5 ingredient guac recipe is full of flavor, super easy to make, and will be ready in 5 minutes!
Ingredients
- Avocados: 3
- Lime Juice: 2 tablespoons
- Jalapenos: 2, diced (remove the seeds if you prefer less spice, or omit the jalapenos entirely)
- Red Onion: 1/4 cup, diced
- Cilantro: 2 tablespoons, chopped
Instructions
- Mash: Slice the avocado lengthwise, remove the pits, and scoop out the avocado flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash it with a fork and sprinkle it with a pinch of salt.
- Combine and Mix: Add the remaining ingredients and mix until combined.

Buy avocados a few days before making this recipe to give them time to ripen and become soft and usable.
If you plan on keeping your leftover guac, make sure you add an avocado pit or lime wedge to the bowl to keep the guac from browning.
Guac is at its best the same day it's made.
Feel free to remove the seeds from the jalapeno or omit the jalapeno entirely if you prefer no spice.
