Description

This easy cream cheese buttercream frosting is silky, smooth, and delicious on any baked treat!


Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese: one 8 oz package, softened
  • Butter: 1 cup, softened
  • Powdered Sugar: 4 cups

Instructions

  1. To a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and butter and mix on high speed until it's light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar and mix on low speed until smooth (do not over-mix). Wait until baked goods are completely cooled before frosting.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the frosting otherwise the texture will be ruined. To avoid this, mix the frosting on the lowest setting, just until it's incorporated.
