Description
This fresh cucumber dill dip with sour cream is quick and easy and perfect for sharing!
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese, softened: 8 oz
- Sour Cream: 1 cup
- Lemon Juice: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic Clove, shredded or minced: 1
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh Dill: 2 tablespoons
- Cucumber, peeled, diced and patted dry: 1
Instructions
- Mix: To a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream using an electric hand mixer on low until creamy. Add the lemon juice, garlic, and salt and mix again. Fold in the dill and cucumber.
- Chill: Chill the dip covered in plastic wrap for 1-2 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
The longer the dip chills, the more flavorful it will be.
Make sure the cream cheese is room softened to avoid clumps when you mix it.
After peeling and dicing the cucumber, use a paper towel to pat dry the cucumbers as much as possible to avoid a runny dip.
