Description

This easy spicy black bean dip is creamy, delicious, and perfect for game day and dinner parties!


Ingredients

  • Black Beans: two 14 oz cans, drained and rinsed
  • Water: 1/3 cup
  • Yellow Onion: 1/2 cup, diced
  • Garlic Clove: 1
  • Jalapeno: 1 *remove seeds if you prefer no heat
  • Fresh Cilantro: 1/2 cup packed
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lime Juice: 2 tablespoons
  • Tortilla Chips: for dipping

If the dip seems too thick while blending, thin it out by adding more water or lime juice. 

If the dip isn’t spicy enough for you, add another jalapeno. 

If you just want the flavor of jalapeno and no heat, then feel free to remove the seeds before dicing it.
