This 3 ingredient apple cobbler with yellow cake mix recipes is quick and easy, full of warm flavors, and super addictive!
Ingredients
- Canned Apple Pie Filling: 2 cans (21 ounces each)
- Boxed Yellow Cake Mix: 1 package
- Butter, sliced: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Assemble: In a 9x13 baking dish, evenly distribute the canned apples (we like to sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on top too but this is optional). Sprinkle the cake mix over the apples and then scatter the slices of butter on top of the cake mix.
- Bake: Bake uncovered on the middle rack for 45-55 minutes until the cobbler topping is solid and golden. Rest for 10 minutes before serving, and top with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Notes
Some sprinkled cinnamon will give the cobbler some extra spice and warmth and complement the apples.
The longer you let the cobbler set, the more time it will have to thicken before serving.
