Description
These easy maple glazed roasted carrots are sweet, sticky, and roasted to perfection!
Ingredients
- Carrots, rinsed, scrubbed, patted dry & cut diagonally into thirds: 2 pounds
- Butter, melted: 1/4 cup
- Brown Sugar, packed: 1/4 cup
- Maple Syrup: 1/3 cup
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Dried or Fresh Parsley: 1 and 1/2 teaspoons
Instructions
- Prepare: Preheat the oven to 400°F, line a baking sheet with tin foil and lightly spray it with oil.
- Marinate: Add the carrots to a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, add and mix the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, salt, pepper and parsley with a whisk. Add the marinade to the bowl with the carrots and toss them until they’re fully coated.
- Roast: Transfer the carrots to the baking sheet and roast them for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve: Transfer the carrots to a serving dish and serve immediately.
Notes
Carrots should be rinsed and scrubbed before consuming.
Consider keeping the carrot skin on to keep things simple and to benefit from all the nutrients that carrots have to offer.
Flip your carrots halfway through the roasting process to ensure they cook evenly and get perfectly roasted on all sides!
