Description
These chocolate chip cookie bars with yellow cake mix are chewy, easy, and so delicious!
Ingredients
- Yellow Cake Mix: 1 box
- Vegetable Oil: 1/3 cup
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Eggs: 2
- Chocolate Chips: 1 cup
Instructions
- Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Mix: In a large bowl, combine and mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, vanilla, and eggs using an electric hand mixer (the batter will be thick and sticky). Use a rubber spatula to fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake: Transfer and press the batter into the baking dish (to help with the stickiness, grease your spatula with cooking spray and use it to press the batter into the dish). Bake for 20-22 minutes or until the edges become golden. Transfer to a cooling rack and wait until it's completely cooled before cutting it into squares.
