This cold and crunchy broccoli salad recipe is easy to make and super creamy!
Ingredients
Salad
- Bacon: 5 slices
- Fresh Broccoli, chopped into bite-size pieces: 8 cups
- Red Onion, diced: 1/2 cup
- Sunflower Seeds: 1/2 cup
- Dried Cranberries: 1/2 cup
- Cheddar Cheese, cut into small cubes: 1 cup
Dressing
- Mayonnaise: 3/4 cup
- Granulated Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Apple Cider Vinegar: 2 tablespoons
- Lemon Juice: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Cook the bacon: Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with tin foil and cooking spray. Add the bacon to the baking sheet and cook it for 10-15 minutes or until crispy. Once cooled, chop it into small pieces and set it aside.
- Make the salad: Add the broccoli, bacon, red onion, sunflower seeds, cranberries, and cheddar cheese to a mixing bowl.
- Make the dressing: Combine and mix the salad dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and transfer it to the broccoli salad, mixing it until fully coated.
